ReplyDeleteThe simple shapes of the figure and sign combined with the gray, black and red background blocks say it all in so much stronger way than a mere photograph of the sight would have.

This is an amazing piece Cathie! It is right up there with pieces of tapestry I saw at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. The tapestries there were from countries at war and like this one have a visceral impact on the viewer. I hope you will have this in some shows. Thank you for sharing this with us.
